We just had an amazing coupla days in TX. Austin is always fun and Edgefest in Dallas was a good day. We are on our way to play Birmingham, Alabama at a place called Sloss Furnaces. This is a national historic landmark. Its super old and it is haunted!!! I can't wait to see this place! We will also be opening a Billy Talent show in Buffalo, NY at The Town Ballroom on May 5th.....see you there....Check out our video for "Boring" right here on Buzznet!!!!

New Jersey rockers Drive By have been working hard on the road to support their latest release, A Delicate Situation, which hit stores earlier this month. We are pulling into New Orleans right now. We play the House of Blues here tonight with MCR and Billy Talent. This place is beautiful. We are having a wonderful wonderful time on this tour. We meet tons of good people every night and get to watch our friends shred. I wish this tour could go on and on. We are here in Portland, OR. Night 2 here and we are having a great time. Our record came out yesterday, show was great, the walls shook...literally...this place wobbles and bounces when bands play! We look forward to seeing you in Salt Lake and Denver coming up. If you haven’t seen the video for "Boring" yet, go to buzznet.com and watch..then "buzz" the video. New pictures are up too! We just finished playing at the Zone in Bakersfield, Ca. It was cool..small show..kids were really cool. The
first band went on and they were heavey, heavey metal...so we assumed it would be a weird show for us...but the kids were rad as hell! The dude that ran the show, Tim, was rad as well...Jae, Chris and I played a little frisbie in the back parking lot...we DID NOT roof the frisbie, which is what usually happens. We did accidentally toss it into a huge dumpster, however. We then made Jae jump 
into that dumpster to retrieve the frisbie...I didn’t have my sidekick on me, or elseI would have some sweet pics...I’ll snap shots from now on, for sure...

We're now driving back to our spot in LA now...its about an hour and a half until we get back, which is not so bad. Our tour manager, Jesse, is driving because I'm beat...so I'm probably going to just pass the "F" out...pardon my harsh letters...

Oh!! I almost forgot!!! When I was warming up my voice with todd in the van before the show, I guess there were some "words" spoken by one of the dudes from one of the bands to some local kids who lived next to the 
venue. That band dude threw his drink at the little local skater kid and then punches were thrown and the band dude got beat down by three locals...I didn't see any of this go down...Jae did. I was told later by Jae, but I saw the band kid afterwards and his head was "F"ed up...pardon my letters again. But, hewas a trooper and played the show anyways...rock on!!

Top O'the morning to ya!  It's early, and we're now getting ready to head back to California for some shows...see ya there!!
Anyways, so yesterday was an eventful day...we woke up, played a show presented by 'Shirts for a Cure' (awesome foundation, definately check them out), I met this kid who was a bigger version of myself(not as goodlooking, but he was a close second),  we ate some delicious IHOP(with horrible service), and we also did an interview with Macbeth...I even taught Todd about 'dunks'...

2. I am now lil Fitz, bc i met Bigger Fitz at SXSW (i might make a shirt that says that )
3. Never eating at IHOP again (unless they give us free food)

so we're hitting the road now, and I'm not gonna have internet until later...so for now, I'm gonna get me some grub because I'm starving...you should do the same...food is good...see you on the other side!

So... it has been aother long day of rehearsing and preping for our SxSW appearance.  We just found out today that the show is FREE, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, and ALL AGES are welcome.  Which means that if you are anywhere near the Austin area on march 14th around noonish, you had better find your way to RED7 to see this specticle of a show!!  If you are unaware the show features: us(Drive By), Dead to Me, Gaslight Anthem, Paint it Black, and Hot Water Music. It promises to be an unforgettable day.

   It is approximately 8:58pm Pacific time, and I am extremely hungry.  I think the only thing I had to eat today was a bagel, but now I am in the mood for some serious sushi.  Personally I am a huge fan of Philly rolls (usually containing cream cheese, and salmon among other things) but I am down to try anything at least once, well when it comes sushi anyway.  What about you?  what is your favorite sushi? or do you hate sushi?  Its definitely one of those things that you either love or you hate.  I think....right? 

ok I gotta go, I need to eat something before I pass out.  I hope that you all enjoyed this installment of my daily life.  Is there anything that you guys want to know about?  any questions? comments?  concerns?  any thing that is missing from my life that I need to know about?   Get at me!  I am always listening.

Todd just rocked some stir-fry, jae found a dead bird, Chris ate Todd's stir-fry...I washed some some dishes...

Today just felt weird.  The change in the clocks kinda messed up my internal clock...so i'm trying to organize my thoughts right now...the dudes and I are probably gonna go to the movies because we have a little time to kill tonight.  "10,000 B.C." anyone?  We'll see about that one...hopefully all goes well and Jae treats me to some popcorn...what's your fave flavor of popcorn...and you can't say butter because that's straight boring...and if you never tried flavored popcorn, well, get on that...for example; Nacho Cheese, Parmesian Garlic, White Cheddar...etc.

California is beautiful!!!!! We have been preparing for our upcoming tour by laying low and practicing everyday.
